Pat started her career (and some would say her life!) in the library. Her first graduate degree was her MLS and she has put in time at all levels of the library profession - management, science, reference, children's. She has also served as trustee and board member for libraries, managed building campaigns, performed literacy education, and basically knows pretty much everything there is to know about the modern library.
Pat Taviss Consulting maintains its Library Services Division to assist libraries of all sizes and types to target their tangible results for the 21st century. Some of her activities include:
Strategic Planning - We are able to help you with all aspects of PLA's The New Planning for Results: A Streamlined Approach. Whether you are starting from scratch and need an overview of the process, undertaking your first strategic planning process, or looking for a new approach we will work with your team to achieve tangible results.
