Founder and principal of a training and consulting firm that emphasizes successful implementation of technological and human change for organizations of all sizes. Using standard practices such as the ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate) instructional design model and Kirkpatrick's four-level model of evaluation,reaction, learning, transfer and results) have provided course development, custom training, database design, documentation, technical writing, and related services. Conducted values setting and culture change initiatives for a mid-sized library (58 FTE).
Coordinated conversion and training for 600 users in three offices, with 25 direct reports, liaised with training vendor, and managed the training center at a large firm (1,000+ employees) for one year.
Created the Customer Care Center for a medical hand held application start-up company, including liaison between functional units, strategic planning, training, marketing, and mentoring.
Established an Internet start-up with wide range of responsibilities culminating in product launch at DEMO 2003.

Managed the training department, and provided training, documentation, and support to all levels of users at a mid-sized firm (300+ employees) for two years.
Award-winning contract trainer for pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly for three years.
Advised on selection of back-office hardware and software; supervised installation; established initial procedures; and provided training, documentation, and support for all levels of staff and professionals in a start-up organization (50 - 100 employees) for a nine month period.
Designed and delivered special education program for the University Of Cincinnati extension services.
Installation Consultant CLSI, Inc. (1989 - 1991)
Provided pre-installation, installation, and ongoing customer training and consulting services for clients typically moving from a manual to a fully automated system. Clients included public, academic, military, and specialty libraries throughout North America. Position involved 85 percent travel.
Systems Manager Hamilton Public Library, Ohio (1986 - 1989)
Created new department to install and implement CLSI automated library system for main library, four branches, and two bookmobiles. Responsibilities included: system parameter development; staff and public training; contract negotiations; vendor liaison; bar-coding project coordination.

Lead the city-appointed administrative Board of Trustees that independently manage all library operations for a four facility library system serving a population of 95,000.
